This policy explains what information Sylvester Palm Nursery collects when you subscribe, what we do with it, and how to get it removed. We've kept it in plain English because we believe in being straightforward with our customers.

Information We Collect
When you subscribe through our website, we collect:
- Your name
- Your mobile phone number
- Your email address, if you give us one
- The date and time you subscribed
We only collect this information directly from you when you fill out our subscription form. We do not gather information about you from advertising networks or data brokers.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to:
- Send you updates featuring new palm inventory and photos from our farm
- Notify you of promotions, seasonal availability, and offers exclusive to subscribers
- Respond to questions or inquiries when you contact us directly
- Manage our subscriber list and keep our records up to date
That's it. We don't profile you, retarget you with ads, or track your behavior across other websites.
Mobile Information and Text Message Consent
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors who provide support services, such as customer service or message delivery, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Your consent to receive text messages is used only to send you the messages described in our Terms of Service. You can withdraw it at any time by replying STOP to any message.
Sharing Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to third parties. Period.
We use one trusted service provider to help us manage subscriber communications: Klaviyo, Inc., which stores our contact list and delivers our emails and text messages. Their privacy policy is available at klaviyo.com/legal/privacy-notice. They are contractually required to protect your data and use it only to provide services to us.
We may also disclose information if we are legally required to do so, for example in response to a valid subpoena or court order.
Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you provide. Your data is stored on Klaviyo's secure servers, which use industry-standard encryption. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security, and we make no guarantee that information transmitted over the internet is fully secure.
How Long We Keep It
We keep your contact information for as long as you remain subscribed, and for a reasonable period afterward so we can honor your opt-out. Ask us to delete it and we will.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the information we hold about you
- Correct any information that is inaccurate or incomplete
- Delete your information from our records at any time
- Opt out of marketing communications

Cookies & Tracking
Our website uses minimal local browser storage to remember whether you've already seen our subscription popup so we don't show it to you repeatedly. Klaviyo also sets a cookie so it can recognize returning subscribers. We do not use third-party advertising pixels or behavior analytics tools.
Children's Privacy
Our services are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with their information, please contact us and we'll delete it immediately.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy occasionally as our practices evolve. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be communicated to current subscribers.
